Towerfall can best be described as “Super Smash Bros with archers,” and according to Thorson, the PC version will have additional content, including “two new archers and five new towers.” Each tower has ten different layouts, making 50 new levels altogether.
The PC version will also include new weapons, such as a Drill Arrow that bores through walls as well as Bomb Arrows and Bramble Arrows (which spreads barbs across an area).
Finally, the game will take full advantage of Steam Workshop, and will come with an editor so gamers can create their own levels.
