Gearbox has released a series of updates for all versions of Aliens: Colonial Marines. The long-awaited game, which has struggled through the review process, has received a number of general, single-player and multiplayer improvements.
Various performance and interface issues will be resolved, with Gearbox also eliminating problems from the campaign. Useless NPCs, fixed recovery for co-op partners and a host of other mistakes should be corrected.
Has Gearbox let the Alien franchise down with A: CM? Will there ever be a decent Xenomorph-based game on modern tech? I wouldn’t count on it.
