Lionhead Studios’ lead designer Ted Timmins has said they if the noise is loud enough for a PC Fable Anniversary then the mob might get their way. Anniversary is a re-release of the original Fable: The Lost Chapters.
Sadly, almost criminally, it isn’t destined for PC but Xbox 360. Timmins stressed it was unlikely to migrate to Xbox One because of the episodic Fable Legends project.
Lionhead ”do very much listen” to the fanbase and it was the very reason that Fable Anniversary existed ”in the first place.” Lionhead may listen, but will Microsoft Game Studios?
HD visuals, improved controls, a new UI and even SmartGlass feature in Anniversary, which releases on Xbox 360 in February 2014. ”…if there are any PC fans out there, I would say keep demanding it,” Timmins said, ”because I would love to see Fable Anniversary on PC, and we’ll only be able to do it if there’s demand for it and our fanbase wants it.”
”Keep writing those requests on the forums, because we do very much listen to our fanbase, and that’s the reason we’re making Fable Anniversary at all in the first place.”
