Mastertronic and Tower Software have announced that a new remastered version of Speedball 2 will be coming to Steam and Get Games on the 5th December 2013, developed by Vivid Games.
For the uninitiated, Speedball 2 HD is a future-sport title in which gamers play ”a brutal mix of handball and ice hockey”, trying to knock a ball into a goal. The remake features 6 brand new Speedball arenas, 336 unique players and 28 teams across 4 planets, a full Player transfer market and player upgrade system, and Speedball team customization.
The game will run $9.99 / €7.99 / £6.99 when it is released.
