Hollywood Mogul is a text-based strategy simulation in which the player ran a movie studio and produced movies. Players could hire screenwriters to pen original scripts, or purchase licensed properties such as books, plays or pre-written screenplays. They would then hire actors and directors, and try to shepherd their productions.
Of course, complications will often arise, with the talent potentially causing problems on the set, or agents demanding concessions from producers. Additionally, the big budget film could also tank in the box office, sending the studio into debt.
One of the most attractive aspects of Hollywood Mogul 3 is that it is completely customizable, allowing players to make their own realism mods with real actors, directors and screenwriters and their portraits.
