The DLC includes two new weapons, the Grenade Launcher and Drone Launcher. The former fires bouncing explosives the latter sends smart aerial drones to attack enemies in a swarm of laser fire; they can also engage in “suicide” by crashing explosively into enemies.
There are also two new towers, including the Friendship Laser, which fires a single-shot laser and also channels laser power to neighboring Friendship Laser towers, thus increasing their damage. The Mind Control Spire causes enemies to briefly attack their comrades.
Other features of the DLC include new enemies like the armored Heavy Pup and the flying Bliskeblaske that changes when taking damage into a more hardened, defensive form. The pack also includes new perks and maps.
The Sanctum 2: The Pursuit DLC expansion pack will be available on PC via Steam for $4.99 USD. It’s also free for players who own the Season Pass.
