A Change.org petition asking Rockstar to develop a PC version of Grand Theft Auto V has reached 200K signatures. Studio cofounder Dan House stated that it was “under consideration”, but committed to nothing.
The petition begs, ”Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many people’s lives and it’s a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform.”
It then brings up modding, noting ”Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have.”
To be sure, some incredible Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas mods have been released over the years, such as R2-D2 going on a rampage in Liberty City.
