New single-player and multiplayer content awaits in the beta release as they bring it closer to retail. 8 showcase missions are included, as well as ”competitive firing drills” to test your skills.
There are also 4 co-operative multiplayer scenarios for testers to form squads and team up. 18 vehicles also feature in the beta covering land, sea and air.
Bohemia has also included the scenario editor for custom missions. Arma III works on a revamped engine that utilizes new ragdoll simulations and PhysX-powered vehicles. The 20 km² island of Stratis is home to beta testing with rugged terrain, forests and a man-made airbase; so much better than those bear-made airbases - they suck.
You can buy Arma III through Steam’s Early Access or via Bohemia’s digital store.
