Turbine has announced that the Summer Festival is on for The Lord of the Rings Online from now through the 6th August.
As with all good festivals, there’s a lot of eating, drinking and racing. The Taste of Hobbiton involves an eating contest, while the dwarves have their own Keg race in which they drink then have a little race. Meanwhile, speaking of taverns the Ale Association and the Inn League are having their own PvP competition.
For more down-to-Middle Earth activities, there’s the fishing contests, scavenger hunts and horse races, but when all else fails, you can always dance. Competitively, of course.
