These past few weeks they’ve been focused on art tools, server-side hardware, vampire powers and social tie-ins. The rest of 2013 will go to clothing, PvE, web-based social tools and item creation.
“You’re a powerful, immortal lord of the night. You don’t want to stitch a shirt,” said a presenter during the World of Darkness segment, referring to the crafting system.
The Vampire MMO was first announced back in November 2006, at which stage it was just an idea and not in production. Very little has been disclosed by CCP Online about the World of Darkness or how it’s been doing at the studio. EVE Fanfest 2013 however broke their code of silence and divulged a little teasing info.
Technically the MMO remains in the pre-production phase so a release is off by years. ”Some of these videos are a bit dry and technical,” joked the presenter, reports Massively. The clips shown were of procedurally generated content and the tools they’re using to do it to create cityscapes.
