Mutant Football League creator Michael Mendheim has announced that Football Heroes developer Run Games will be aiding him in developing his reboot of the popular fantasy sports game.
”We are lucky enough to have found an elegant solution to our development risks. Not only is the game really fun, but the Football Heroes game engine is very flexible, so we are able to adjust it to fit the needs of Mutant Football League,” Mendheim enthused, ”This technology will help us create a better game that gets delivered faster than we could make happen on our own.”
Mutant League Football is currently raising funds with Kickstarter. So far, it has raised almost $89K of its $750K goal with 18 days left of funding. It’s being developed for PC and Xbox One. Football Heroes, an homage to games like Tecmo Bowl, was released on iOS and Android.
Football Heroes was itself a successful Kickstarter project.
