Wargaming Group Limited has announced that its free-to-play PvPvE shooter, Steel Hunters, will be released into early access on Steam on April 2nd.
Steel Hunters is an online co-op hero shooter with mechs. Wargaming doesn’t think that the early access period will be drawn out, “Our goal is to move quickly to a full release once your feedback has helped us polish the core experience.”

After a cataclysmic event, Hunters were created by mankind to safeguard the collection of an extraterrestrial resource crucial to human survival, known as Starfall. Driven by ruthless factions, these fearsome mechanical giants have now become the key to dominating the scarce resources across the ruins of a green but abandoned Earth.
Steel Hunters has been in development for three years and joins Wargaming’s growing list of free-to-play multiplayer games alongside World of Warships, World of Tanks, and World of Warplanes.
