1C Company has announced an August 14 release date for King’s Bounty: Dark Side, the spin-off to its popular turn-based fantasy series which lets you play as the poor, persecuted evil guys for once.
Specifically, you can be an orc warlord, a vampire count or a demoness in impractically skimpy armour. Naturally.
King’s Bounty: Dark Side has been in Early Access since last year, but now 1C are ready to unleash the final release version upon the world.
Apart from the opportunity to go around kicking elves in the head (who doesn’t want to do that?) and plundering goodly human cities, Dark Side offers a new companion system, plenty of new artifacts and items, and over 100 new quests spread across fifteen new locations.
The game will ship in two editions; the regular version will set you back $24.99/17.99 EUROS, while the King’s Bounty: Dark Side Premium Edition will cost $29.99/21.99 EUROS. Here’s what you’ll net for that extra cash:
