Paradox has announced a new map for its spell-casting PVP game Magicka: Wizard Wars. ‘Displacement Ridge’ has a new trick to try out - there’s multiple teleportation devices spread across the map for you to hurl your wizards into.
In addition the studio is introducing a referral programme, offering various rewards to players who recruit their friends into the game.
You can check out the referral programme here. Right now the rewards range from a sackful of crowns, the in-game currency, to new robes and hats for your miniature mages. Your friends need to reach 25,000 XP in the game on Steam for you to net the rewards.
Finally the developers have introduced Daily Treasure Chests, offering new goodies every day. Those goodies range from crowns to unique robes to crystals. You can crack one open every 24 hours when you log-in to the game.
Magicka: Wizard Wars is currently free-to-play on Steam Early Access.
