Developer Just Add Water has released the E3 2014 trailer for Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, the HD remake of 1997’s Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee.
It’s looking pretty sharp. We’ll see it in more detail this week, as Just Add Water has confirmed the game will be playable at E3. Retaining the same side-scrolling platform action as its ancestor, the remake will feature reworked visuals, sound and music, along with new dialogue options.
While there’s no official release date announced just yet, we do know how much it’s likely to set you back. From the official website:
“We are especially excited to confirm the price of the game – Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty will release on PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 for $29.99 in the US, €24.99 in Europe and – approximately – £19.99 in the UK.”
Expect a similiar pricing structure when the game is released on PC and other consoles.
