Yep, more zombies. An open beta is on the way for free-to-play shooter Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies later this month on Steam.
If you haven’t heard about this one, it’s the Western version of Korean developer Nexon’s Counter-Strike Online. Basically, imagine classic Counter-Strike with a load of zombies and nuts game modes thrown in.
You’ve got original CS modes like Hostage Rescue and Bomb Defusal, mixed in with wave survival Shelter Mode, more complex Zombie Scenarios and the… intriguing sounding Beast Mode, Bazooka Mode, and Football Mode.
Alongside that you’ve got a bunch of new, ridiculous weapons like ”Dragon Claws, energy pistols, and sci-fi styled machine rifles”, as well as 20 new maps. If you’re not yet tired of zombie co-op games, and you fancy a bit of classic Counter-Strike shooting, this might be for you.
The open Beta goes live on September 23.
