Good news for all you armchair strategists; developer Muzzy Lane has just released a free demo of its World War One grand strategy game Making History: The Great War.
The demo will introduce a new scenario, The July Crisis, which kicks off just before the assassination of the Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo.
Players who own the game already will get the full version of the new scenario, while demo owners will get a limited version that limits the number of turns and allows Austria-Hungary as a playable nation. Still, it’s always nice to see consumers get the option to try before they buy.
The release of the demo and the new scenario coincides with a huge new patch, which packs in several new fixes and tweaks. You can read the patch notes for the update right here.
