Slitherine has released the first major patch for strategic wargame Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon, fixing several issues highlighted by players since it launched last month.
Patch v1.02 fixes several technical issues but also introduces new features, unit and map rebalancing, and UI upgrades.
“Please note that some balance changes will only take effect when you start a new campaign,” the developer clarifies. “For example infantry unit size changes. If you want to continue an existing game you can work around this by upgrading your infantry to a different type and then back again and it will reset all your stats and you can continue with new fully sized squads.”
In a smart move Slitherine has also added a hotseat local multiplayer mode, giving you some of that good old face-to-face 40K tabletop rivalry. You can see the major improvements that have been made below, but make sure to check out the patch notes for the full list.
