If you’re looking forward to the upcoming HD remake Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, here’s a chance to check out nine minutes of in-game footage with commentary from creator Lorne Lanning.
It’s quite interesting to hear Lanning discuss some of the differences between developing games now, and back in 1997 when the original Abe’s Odyssey came out. There’s been some major reworking to the original’s much-maligned checkpoint system too, which should come as a relief to anyone who played the first game.
Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty will be out July 22 in North America and July 23 in Europe on PS4, with PC and other versions to follow.
