U4iA, developers of the browser-based shooter Offensive Combat, have announced that the studio will close in a post on their official website.
Founded in 2011 by former Call of Duty leads Dusty Welch and Chris Archer, the studio’s only released title was the online browser-based shooter Offensive Combat.
Social manager Jeremy Dunham posted the following message on the U4iA website.
It is with a heavy heart that we write this, but tomorrow, January 15, 2014, will be the last day of operations for U4iA Games.
Our sincere apologies to all of our fantastic, supportive fans over these last few years — we wish we could have done better for you. Thank you very much for your support and we hope to see you again on the other side.
Farewell

He also added a list of the 26 team members who find themselves out of work as a result of the closure. Hopefully they’ll all find something else very soon.
