Mojang’s hotly anticipated card game Scrolls is now available on PC, Mac and Android tablets, moving out of Beta phase after over a year.
If you fancy trying out its brand of strategic card-flipping, there’s some good news; you can grab a free demo from the game’s website.
If you like what you play in the demo, you can upgrade to the full version via an in-game menu for $5. Any Alpha or Beta players will be automatically upgraded to the full game.
Scrolls promises a slightly more visually interesting take on computer card games, with over 350 cards that appear on your screen as fully animated units. There’s also crafting, in-game chat (unlike rival Hearthstone), and cross-platform play.
It’s been a long time coming for Scrolls, but it’s looking like a real rival to Hearthstone. Head to the official website for more information.
