Standalone prologue Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is set for release on PC this December, and Konami has just revealed the game’s recommended specifications.
Not as demanding as you might expect, and certainly not as demanding as Metal Gear Solid 5’s will be, probably due to the game’s previous release on last generation consoles.
They match up fairly well to spin-off Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which was another PC port form the franchise, and one that performed reasonably well. It would be nice to use Ground Zeroes as a kind of benchmark for Metal Gear Solid 5 on PC next year, but I think that’s likely ill-advised - the next game in the venerable stealth action franchise will feature improved lighting and shadows, as well as other next-gen bells and whistles.
