Let it be known; Dead Rising 3 on PC is now known as the Dead Rising 3: Apocalypse Edition, and will ship with four free DLC packs previously released on the Xbox One.
The Untold Stories of Los Perdidos will each focus on a different protagonist, and will net you various different weapons and vehicles for use in the core game.
This also counts for anyone who’s already ordered the PC version of the game, by the way, so don’t worry about missing out. We might continously get stiffed in terms of release dates, but you can’t argue with a few extra goodies. Let’s just hope the port itself is up to scratch.
Dead Rising 3 was a launch title for the Xbox One, the third entry in the often ridiculous and mostly entertaining zombie-smashing action game series from Capcom. The Xbox version is shortly to get the Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX Plus Alpha DLC pack, but it seems unlikely that PC players will get that for free too. We’ll keep an eye out for Capcom announcements just in case.
