Dune: Awakening developer Funcom has opened up pre-orders for the upcoming MMO, along with details on pricing, special editions, and the recommended specs for PC players.
Dune: Awakening is now available for pre-order in three different editions ahead of its May 20th release date. Each version, labeled as Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Ultimate Edition, comes in at $50, $70, and $90 respectively.

While console versions are planned, the PC version will be released first, and Funcom has revealed the system specs for the game. Dune: Awakening will feature DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, alongside FSR and XeSS 2 technologies.

- Memory: 16 GB RAM

Recommended:
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit (or newer)
- Processor: Intel Core i7-10700K, AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (8GB), AMD Radeon 6700XT (12GB)
- Storage: 75 GB available space
It’s currently unknown what benchmarks Funcom has targeted with these specs, but most players wanting the best graphics may need frame generation to bump up the framerate to 60 and higher.
Funcom will be hosting a developer livestream on Twitch later today. In it, it might elaborate more on the PC specs, answer more community questions, and show off some live gameplay.
Dune: Awakening launches for PC on May 20th, 2025. Console versions on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 are planned, but don’t have a confirmed release date yet.
