Fresh3D Inc has released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Outcast Reboot HD. The remaster project is currently in the middle of a Kickstarter campaign, with $225,078 pledged out of a $600,000 goal.
French development team Fresh3D are still working on the full remaster of well-loved 1999 open-world action adventure game Outcast. The sample shown is not quite the final version. While most of the landscape textures are finished, character models and animations are still being worked on.
”For those who don’t know the original game,” write the developers on the campaign blog, ”I hope this video will give them a glimpse of what the game could be if we had the chance to modernize all the components. Thanks again for your patience and your amazing support and please continue to spread the word!”
There’s still 13 days to go on the Kickstarter.
