Konami has revealed the PC version of the prologue Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has done ”solid” numbers on PC, although they didn’t reveal the exact figures in their recent fiscal.
It hit Steam in December, having enjoyed a million sales in March 2014 on consoles. Overall Konami’s digital arm saw revenue dip, for the nine months leading to December 31st.
Around $580 million was taken in through revenue these past three quarters, however operating income improved 40% to $70 million compared to the same period in 2013. The publisher also noted that Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 did alright for the company.
It was PlayStation 3 that took 35% of all units sold across platforms, followed by PlayStation 4 at 20%, Xbox 360 at 11% and then PC at 10%. Xbox One and PlayStation Vita tied at 6% each.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain remains scheduled for this year, affirm Konami.
