The pre-order promotion for the first line of Steam Machines, Controllers and Link hardware has soared to 35% of ”limited quantity”, meaning at this rate many will miss out on the early October 16th release and have to wait until November.
Alienware’s Steam Machine pre-orders began last week. In the UK the Steam Link streaming device is exclusively sold through retailer GAME. It’s recommended to have a wired connection over wireless.
”The ‘get it early’ preorder offer is available to everyone who preorders, but only while supplies last,” Valve said. ”As of this writing, we have sold over 35 percent of the limited quantity available for early delivery in October.”
