Larian Studios has announced that it’s working on Divinity: Original Sin 2, a sequel to last year’s excellent crowd-funded RPG.
Once again the team will head to Kickstarter to raise funds, and this time fans can select which backer options they would like to see by heading over to the game’s official website.
Concrete details on the new game are pretty thin on the ground right now, but Larian is bringing a prototype version of Divinity: Original Sin 2 to PAX Prime at the end of the month, so expect to hear more soon. The Kickstarter campaign itself will begin on August 26.
I have to say, I’m pretty excited. For the most part I loved the previous game, despite its jaw-droppingly obtuse quest design, and I’m interested to see how the team plans to take that successful turn-based formula and improve on it. What would you like to see from Original Sin 2?
