Splendiferous news as Konami has RSVP’d for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to be in attendance at next month’s Gamescom event. Not only that but it’ll be playable in the hands of the great unwashed masses.
They’re also setting up stations for PES 2016. It’s almost certain that fans will get their hands on console versions of the two. Gamescom will be taking place August 5-9, with the public welcome from August 6th.
”METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN and PES 2016 will be available for the public to play for the first time at this year’s gamescom; and that´s the kind of line-up that packs a punch,” said Martin Schneider, Konami general manager.
“KONAMI is going to present two stunning games for the current console generation at the most important consumer exhibition in the world, and further showcases KONAMI’s commitment to bringing AAA-titles to the consumer.”
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain represents a significant change in the series as for the first time it’s going open-world with near total freedom to complete objectives how we want. Owners of the Ground Zeroes prologue get extra goodies that transfer over.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and PES 2016 releases September 15th. Just last week Konami released a new alternate gameplay demo for The Phantom Pain.
