Techland has just announced… a release window for its upcoming expansion Dying Light: The Following - it’ll ship sometime in the first quarter of 2016.
For some reason it seems a bit odd to me make a big video announcement about roughly when you’re releasing a game, rather than when you have an exact date locked down. But hey, Dying Light was fun, and The Following looks set to add a nice dose of variety to its zombie-pulping gameplay, so who cares?
“So since Gamescom 2015, we revealed quite a bit about our upcoming expansion,” writes producer Tymon Smektala. ”The vast countryside map, the customizable dirt buggy, a new story and more. What we couldn’t say before though, was the release date. Today we finally know that Dying Light: The Following will launch within the first three months of 2016. This gives us enough time to put in all the content and surprises we have planned for you guys.”
Smektala promises that a final date is coming soon, and says that the team will show off a lot more from the expansion over the next few weeks. Dying Light: The Following will cost $14.99, but it’s also included in the game’s Season Pass.
