If you’re in the mood for something a little less immediately dangerous than training a vicious sea-reptile, you can also now try your hand at rearing baby dinosaurs thanks to a new breeding model. Dinos and creatures hatch and grow over time, and if you’re willing to make the effort, they can become more powerful than creatures found in the wild.
”By selectively breeding for desired qualities,” says the team, ”dedicated players can progressively raise generations of Dinosaurs that have more refined collections of high-end traits than could never be found in the wild. But this highly-rewarding process takes effort. In the dangerous world of ARK, incubating an egg and then raising a helpless baby Dino in real-time from hatchling to adult is no small task!”
