Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 creator Scott Cawthon has released the game’s first trailer, and its as filled to the brim with puppet spookiness as you would imagine.
For some reason the series’ demonic puppets to absolutely nothing to scare me at all, but I do appreciate the way Cawthon builds tension, and his skilful use of jump scares and horror movie lighting.
As we reported yesterday, will be released a little earlier than expected, on August 8 rather than Halloween as was initially predicted. Fans will, however, be able to look forward to some extra content on that date.
And after this final chapter ties up the story of Freddy Fazbear and his merry band of stuffed-toy murderers, there’s also going to be a film based on the franchise.
