Soon the stars and space systems of Elite: Dangerous will be packed with homages to beloved, deceased celebrities; following on from their tributes to Leonard Nimoy comes a new space station dedicated to author Terry Pratchett.
The brilliant comedy/fantasy writer passed away last week at the age of 66, after an eight-year struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
”At Frontier we have a great many Pratchett fans on staff and we were all saddened to learn of his passing,” Frontier’s executive producer Michael Brookes told Eurogamer. ”The sentiment was reflected by our community so we felt it would be right to remember him in Elite: Dangerous.”
Good old Terry. Still feel completely gutted that he’s gone. The Pratchett’s Disc station was added as part of forthcoming update 1.2.05, the full patch notes for which you can check out here.
