NCSOFT West has announced that Blade & Soul, a free-to-play Korean fantasy martial arts MMO, will be making its Western debut on 19th January, 2016. Those who invest in two of the three Founder’s Packs will get early access on 11th January, 2015 while all Founder’s Pack pre-purchasers can enter the game on 15th January, 2015.
According to the publisher, the MMO will feature launch content including seven classes for players to choose from, 30 dungeons, a character level cap of 45, and the popular skill-based 1 vs. 1 Arena, which enjoyed an eSports tournament this year in South Korea that attracted an audience of thousands of gamers.
“This is a big day for us, as we’re able to share the official launch date of Blade & Soul for all Western players,” NCSOFT West’s senior director of marketing Tim Granich announced. “We’ve already had tens of thousands of players in our first two closed beta weekends, and look forward to welcoming many more beginning with the next beta weekend on 24th November and all the way through launch.”
Blade & Soul recently completed its second closed beta weekend, and will have another extended beta period for all Founder’s Pack owners that will run from the 24th to the 30th of November.
