Bohemia Interactive has announced a release date for Arma 3’s next DLC pack, Marksmen. Coming April 8, the content pack will arrive alongside a major free update with new modes and weapon adjustements.
Speaking of weapons, the Marksmen DLC adds seven; five marksman rifles and two medium machine guns. It also introduces two new ghillie suits and two Remote Designators for marking targets at long range.
The Marksmen DLC is part of a larger attempt by Bohemia to rebalance and rework how weapons in Arma 3 feel, hence the accompanying free patch.
”Besides new playable content and major upgrades to weapon handling,” explains the studio, ”this update will include suppressor and bipod weapon attachments, as well as nine new types of face paint, and three new heavy and grenadier vests designed specifically for improved explosive shielding and ballistic protection.”
Contained in the patch is a new multiplayer mode called End Game, which has two teams attempt to secure valuable schematics. Also included is a new Firing From Vehicles showcase scenario, new VR training courses, objects for content creators, and a brand new set of Steam achievements.
You can grab Marksmen as part of an All-in-One DLC bundle on Steam.
