El Presidente must defend his tropical island paradise from ”foreign agents at all costs” in the latest Tropico 5 expansion. Next week the Espionage add-on will be released and with it a new campaign spanning six missions.
There are also nine new spy and military buildings, four new island maps, new music, new avatar costumes and accessories, new sandbox tasks and events, and the new spy mechanics.
”‘Espionage’ features the all new campaign ‘The Maltese Toucan’, a thrilling new adventure wherein Tropico’s precious treasures need to be protected against foreign agents at all costs. Only you, as El Presidente, can keep Tropico safe from enemy spies and foreign powers that might try to steal your island’s best kept secrets for their own gain.”
Security Checkpoints can be installed to sniff out foreign agents and there’s a new Dungeon to throw them in. We’ll be armed with our own operatives thanks to the Spy Academy, which opens up new interactions with the world’s Global Powers.
The Ministry Of Information can help keep an eye on our citizens thanks to ”strict Tropican data privacy laws.” Law enforcement also gets a new Police Blimp to their arsenal, and the military gains the Mechanized Garrison.
Tropico 5 - Espionage releases on PC May 28th for £14.99 / €19.99 / $19.99.
