This evening GameWatcher will be live-streaming the upcoming real-time strategy game with the greatest name ever, Petroglyph’s sci-fi extravaganza Grey Goo. Tune in for robots, explosions, and aliens.
We’ll be live from 8pm GMT/ 9pm CET tonight, and you can watch the stream right here. Can we make it though the game’s early levels without embarrassing ourselves? There’s only one way to find out…
Grey Goo if you’re curious, that title is a reference to a famous hypothetical scenario in which the world is devoured by a swarm of tiny nanobots takes place on Ecosystem 9, a resource-rich planet which is being contested by the defensive armies of the Humans, the versatile alien Beta, and the zerg-rushing robotic swarms of the Goo.
It’s very much a classic RTS in the vein of Command & Conquer or Starcraft, with a focus on base construction and tech upgrades rather than excessive micro-management. Our live-stream is a great chance to check out the game in action before buying - Grey Goo is set for release later today.
