Just in time for Halloween, a new update has been announced for Unreal Tournament featuring a ton of ghoulish content updates. The biggest addition on the card is the Spooky Face map, which is a Halloween rework of the classic Facing Worlds map. In addition, there are several collectible leader hats and a mask which will remain usable permanently once a player has earned it.
Offline challenges will allow players to earn spooky stars which can be traded to unlock the Trickster horns, the Hellion horns, and the Baaler horns. Players can also pick up the skulls of their enemies to unlock the Harvest Gourd, Harvest Spectre, and Harvest Ember collectibles. Finally, a player that collects 6666 pumpkins during matches will unlock the Pumpkin Fiend Mask permanently and keep it even after the Halloween festivities are over.

The latest Unreal Tournament is in pre-alpha right now. The Halloween Update goes live on October 31st.
