Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege is coming very soon, but there may be troubles. The game was supposed to have an Open Beta on all available platforms starting today, but Ubisoft has officially postponed the Open Beta until further notice due to several technical issues affecting all platforms.
The announcement was made by a Ubisoft Community Manager on the official forum for the game.
”We’re currently seeing issues with matchmaking times and disconnection on all platforms. As such we’re postponing the Open Beta until a later time and keeping the game under Closed Beta status. We apologize for the delay and can assure you this is our top priority. We will keep everyone updated regularly as we continue to deploy improvements.”
It’s a little unfortunate considering that the game’s release date is December 1st for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Issues like this don’t exactly thrill players when the game is right around the corner and with such a small window before release, there’s very little time to attempt an Open Beta again before launch.
