It’s been a somewhat rough couple days leading into the Open Beta for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege, but now the Beta is officially fixed. Players hoping to check out the game before it’s shortly coming release in a few days can check it out now on all available platforms.
Problems started when matchmaking issues and connection drop issues on all platforms forced Ubisoft to postpone the Open Beta until further notice. This forced the publisher to answer to valid concerns about whether the game would be clean and issue-free upon launch, to which Ubisoft claimed confidence that the matters would be resolved.
It would seem however, that the Rainbow Six: Siege team has solved the problems is coming through on their confidence in the game’s playability. According to a follow-up announcement on the official game forums from Community Manager Ubi_Jax, the Beta is now up, running, and available as of 12AM US EST. Good to see the team has had such a quick breakthrough, though an issue like this still leaves doubt in the minds of prospective customers, not to mention cutting into the time that was supposed to be set aside for the Beta.
Rainbow Six: Siege is slated for release in only a few days on December 1st for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
