Warhammer 40,000: Regicide, the galaxy’s most violent game of chess, will now be released in full on September 8, developer Hammerfall Publishing has announced. The game’s been on Early Access since May, and the general response has been very positive. Originally, the plan was to release on August 26, but that’s been pushed back in favour of a bit more polish.
”There’s a huge amount of content, all of which is completed, that is now going through an additional polish stage. That’s a good thing not only for gamers, but for fans of the Warhammer 40,000 Universe, the developer writes.
The full release will include a 50 mission story-driven campaign, five new factions, a unit tier development system, and various other new bits and pieces designed to make the game a deeper, more varied experience. I’ve listed the major additions below. Regicide is currently priced at £10.59/$14 on Steam.
