A gamer released a video showing how he jury-rigged his PC to allow him to stream his PlayStation 4 through the Vita onto his PC. Sony has now announced they’re working to make it an official feature.
According to Sony Computer Entertainment president Shuhei Yoshia in a tweet:
Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. :D

The current unofficial remote play app tricked the PlayStation 4 into thinking the PC was a Vita. This utility has dynamic controls with profiles so that the user can map their keyboards, mice and alternate controllers to mimic the functions of the gamepad. Unfortunately, the main issue with the system is that gameplay is laggy, when trying to use a mouse to mimic gamepad features.
Xbox One owners can already stream their console through Windows as an official feature, only needing a home network router.
