The previously teased vehicle-based content for Dying Light has now been officially named as an expansion. Dying Light: The Following will have ”bold game-changers” with an all-new map rivalling all previous maps combined.
The expansion is included as part of the Season Pass and features plenty of vehicles, open environments and a story-focused campaign. It will be at Gamescom next week with a full reveal due not long after.
”For Dying Light: The Following, we’re adding a number of bold game-changers to create one massive expansion,” producer Tymon Smektala said. ”Something big that will give the game a brand-new flavor. The new map alone is the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined, so there is a lot we’re packing in here.”
”We also kept a close eye on player feedback to help tailor what we’ve created here,” he added. ”Hopefully people will see that this new expansion is first and foremost, for the fans.”
Dying Light: The Following currently has no release date attached.
