It turns out that people just can’t get enough slow-motion replays of rifle rounds entering spleens - Rebellion has announced that its Sniper Elite series has surpassed 10 million sales worldwide.
CEO Jason Kingsley announces the news in the video below, and thanks fans for their support. It’s also the Sniper Elite series’ 10th anniversary, and the studio is planning a month’s worth of celebrations.
”Whether you’ve bought one or whether you’ve bought all of our SNIPER ELITE products, thank you very much for supporting indie development in the UK,” said Kingsley. ”It’s been a pleasure to deliver great games for you and hopefully we’ll go on to do more in the future.”
Planned celebrations include ”new videos, livestreams, giveaways and more”, and there’s already a big sale on the franchise over on Steam.
