In their long and varied history Team 17 have never stopped supported the title that put them on the map. And the latest entry into the Worms series - Worms W.M.D. - will be getting another sliver of attention with the incoming Liberation update.
The major difference between the newest Worms title when compared to the others was the inclusion of vehicular combat - so you'll be seeing a little more of that when the update lands on December 7.
In a slight turn, however, the newest vehicle to be added into the game will be the first to allow the tiny creatures to venture into the liquids feared by all worm-kind, with the Drillboat likely emphasizing the expansions new "tunnels to explore" landscaping change.

Moreso, there's five new single-player missions coming in, with four new weapons and plenty of new hats to adorn your creature crew with. Blow them away with the W1 Rocket or freak them out with a Tasty Worm Lick. And whatever the Worm Stinger is, it's likely to cause either a lot of damage, or be the equivalent of a bee sting to the slippery snakes.
Best of all, they're not looking to charge for the extra content. Once the Worms W.M.D Liberation update lands on December 7, it'll be pumped straight through the Steam tubes and into your hard-drive. There's even a video to show off all the new content.
