ADR1FT is a science-fiction interactive adventure from developer Three One Zero set in the the broken remains of a destroyed space station. The game has been delayed without a concrete date and for good reason, as it’s now set to launch on the same day as the Oculus Rift.
The announcement was made by Three One Zero developer Adam Orth via Twitter. Orth announced that PC and OculusVR gamers will be getting the game in VR and non-VR forms for now. There’s no concrete date for Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game at this time, but Orth promises it will come to both consoles soon after.
ADR1FT puts players in the role of Commander Alex Oshima as they attempt to navigate a broken space station. Players can go wherever they please within the constrains of keeping oxygen levels up in their suit. While maintaining oxygen, players will work through different environmental puzzles and search through the remains of dead crew and wreckage to give back story and context to the events of the game.
ADR1FT and Oculus Rift are both coming on March 28, 2016. The game seems very much built to be played on the Rift, so if you can afford it, you should plan on playing this one in VR.
