EA have announced Need for Speed will be coming to Origin Access on July 12th. This is the same Need for Speed title that Ghost Games (the developers of the game) recently wrapped up in terms of updates. Now that the game is no longer being supported, EA are giving PC players complete access to the game, assuming they have Origin Access.
Origin Access will also be receiving the Battlefield 1 Play First Trial from October 13th, one whole week before the game’s actual release date. Whether Origin Access members also get to play FIFA 17 a week before its release has not been announced, sadly.
If you own an Xbox One and EA Access, you guys are going to receive both Need for Speed as well as Unravel on July 12th. In addition to this, EA have also provided the dates that you will get to play all the Play First Trial games:
August 18 – Madden 17 Trial
September 8 – NHL 17 Trial
September 22 – FIFA 17 Trial
October 13 – Battlefield 1 Trial
That’s not all for you Xbox users. The Xbox Vault will receive Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 on August 30th.
We aren’t sure whether EA really care too much about PC players. Sure, they’ve given us Origin Access, but when you read press releases like this one, it’s easy to think that Origin Access is just a rubbish version of EA Access.
