ESL’s Open Beta Cup Series will run as planned later this month, but no further tournaments will be held.
”It’s been a pleasure to build this game with your help, but ultimately its audience hasn’t grown enough to sustain ongoing operations,” read the official announcement. As for the future of the Legacy of Kain series, the shutdown FAQ says ”any future Legacy of Kain project will be considered independently of Nosgoth and on the merits of the proposals alone.”
