You’d think after the whole ‘banner ad’ leak yesterday on IGN, things couldn’t get any worse for Ubisoft, surely? It turns out things can get worse! This time, Ubisoft have the advertisements on Twitch to thanks, as those adverts leaked both the trailer and release date of Watch Dogs 2.
Ubisoft were originally planning on revealing the game with a livestream today at 6pm (5pm UK time), but it seems website advertisements may have ruined that intention. Of course, these advertisements didn’t give away too much from the game, there’s still plenty to see from Watch Dogs 2.
The leaked trailer reveals scenes of San Francisco, primarily the Golden Gate Bridge; lots of guns; cool parkour gangs and horse masks. Yes, horse masks. The only new thing to be revealed in this trailer is the horse masks, because we are almost certain those weren’t in the first Watch Dogs game.
We would’ve linked to the trailer, but Ubisoft have been on a bit of a rampage in regards to video take-downs. You’ll just have to watch it below at 5pm BST!
The release date for Watch Dogs 2 is scheduled for November 15th 2016. We assume it will be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
