It happened! It actually happened! Hello Games have completed their work on No Man’s Sky – the game is complete and has gone gold (when a final master copy has been produced at the developer and sent off for replication, packing and shipment).
No Man’s Sky, developed by UK-based team Hello Games, promises to create an infinite amount of worlds for players to explore. Each planet in the game is supposed to have unique fauna and flora. As you can expect, there have been delays to No Man’s Sky but when you consider the amount of content in the game, it’s not too surprising.
”It’s happened,” tweeted Sean Murray, founder of Hello Games. ”No Man’s Sky just went gold. I’m so incredibly proud of this tiny team. 4 years of emotions.”
Murray gave his fans an update on the game’s development only two weeks ago. We can’t imagine a lot of fans were expecting this day to come so soon, though that theory may have been pessimistic considering how many times the game has been delayed.
No Man’s Sky is scheduled to release on August 10th for PC and PlayStation 4.
